What is Simple Linear Regression and Why is it Important?

  3. Regression Equation: Simple linear regression is represented by an equation used to explain the relationship between these two variables. It is typically written as: Y = a + bX. Here, "a" is a constant term, and "b" is the regression coefficient.

  4. R-Squared Value (R²): This value measures how well the regression model explains the dependent variable. It ranges from 0 to 1, with values closer to 1 indicating a better model fit.
